ASSP Deluxe Anti Spam Software
We have a sophisticated anti spam software set-up on our servers called ASSP Deluxe.
Please remember that ASSP Deluxe will create the whitelist dynamically based on the emails you send. Each time you send an email the sender will be automatically whitelisted.
Especially in the first days of usage you can correct possible errors forwarding the good email found in spambox to assp-notspam@clientdomain.com (replace clientdomain.com with your domain name)
This will make sure that that email will pass correctly next time.
If you have spam that is not blocked found in your inbox simply forward it to assp-spam@clientdomain.com (replace clientdomain.com with your domain name)
To receive a list of blocked spam by simply send an email to asspblock@clientdomain.com (replace clientdomain.com with your domain name)
ASSP uses Automatic whitelisting : each time you send an email to someone it will be whitelisted automatically.
You should never reply to a spammer otherwise you are whitelist him.
You can whitelist an email or domain also by sending an email to assp-white@clientdomain.com (replace clientdomain.com with your domain name) ; you should specify one or more email email you want whitelist in the email body or email subject.
If you want whitelist a domain name you can use wildcard *@domain.com. You can send to assp-white@ also a list of domain and/or email which should be whitelisted. If you become aware that email you want is being blocked send him an email so his email isn't blocked anymore or you can send an email to assp-white@clientdomain.com (replace clientdomain.com with your domain name) as described before .

assp-spam@ Any mail sent or forwarded by local/authenticated users to this username will be interpreted as a report about a Spam that got through (spam found in your inbox) . You should forward as attachment the received spam to assp-spam@clientdomain.com (replace clientdomain.com with your domain name) This works best if the mails are forwarded as attachments or copied into a new mail (header and body), because simply forwarding the mail will remove the original header. You can send multiple emails as attachments. assp-notspam@ If you see a valid message (not spam) or in your /spambox imap folder or in your spambox@clientdomain.com (replace clientdomain.com with your domain name)pop3 , you can report this email to our mail server and the ASSP antispam will learn and correct the error improving its antispam performance. If you want report an email blocked incorrectly select the message in your inbox, right-click and select "Forward as attachment" ; address it to assp-notspam@clientdomain.com (replace clientdomain.com with your domain name) and click SEND. In a short time you must receive an email confirmation , you have reported the spam message and it should not be blocked again. assp-white@ You can whitelist an email or domain by sending an email to assp-white@clientdomain.com (replace clientdomain.com with your domain name) ; you should specify one or more email you want whitelist in the email body or email subject. If you want whitelist a domain name you can use wildcard *@domain.com. You can send to assp-white@ also a list of domains and/or email which should be whitelisted. In a short time after your request you must receive an email confirmation .

Whole domains can be blocked by putting a wildcard in the userpart of the address: '*@example.com'. You can receive a complete report about all your personal black list entries by sending an empty add request. assp-notpersblack@ Any mail sent by local/authenticated users to assp-notpersblack@clientdomain.com (replace clientdomain.com with your domain name) will be interpreted as a request to remove the listed address(es) from your personal blackListed addresses. asspanalyze@ Any mail sent or forwarded by local/authenticated users to asspanalyze@clientdomain.com (replace clientdomain.com with your domain name) will be interpreted as a request for spam analyzing the mail. In a short time after your request you must receive an email with analyzing results. asspblock@ Any mail sent by local/authenticated users to asspblock@clientdomain.com (replace clientdomain.com with your domain name) will be interpreted as a request to get a report about blocked emails. Leading digits/numbers in the mail subject will be interpreted as "report request for the last number of days". If the number of days is not specified in the mail subject, a default of 5 days will be used to build the report. All characters behind the "number of days" will be interpreted as a regular expression to overwrite the BlockReportFilter - leading and trailing white spaces will be ignored. If you want receive an asspblock@ report each day at midnight , please contact our technical support .
ASSP works in a different way , there is no quarantine. In ASSP there are Bayesian collections (spam/not spam/ok mail..) using the email interface to make the Bayesian filter more efficient. All the blocked spam is also collected in customer spambox .
