Removing a Sub domain

Overview

The Sub Domain Maintenance Menu allows you to remove subdomains from your account. This will not delete the file or directory that the subdomain displays.

Steps

  1. Log in to your Cpanel and navigate to the --> Domains Section.
  2. Click on Domains --> A page will come up which contain the list of subdomain (if you have created any before).
  3. Locate the concerned sub-domain and Click on the "Manage" button affixed to it.
  4. From the displayed page, Click the "Remove Domain Button"

 

NOTE: If the subdomain was removed successfully, the following will appear like so:

Success: The system removed the “exampe.qservers-tutorial.com.ng” domain and any associated redirections.

 

Troubleshooting

Removing a subdomain will not remove the file or directory that it displays.
